Our Story

? Megon's Story: The Heart Behind Blankets4Kids

 

There are pieces of Megon's story stitched into every blanket we give away.

 

Born into a world that didn’t always feel safe, Megon knows what it means to be a child in chaos—to long for warmth, comfort, and a simple sign that someone cares. Raised in the foster system and shaped by pain, she turned her survival into a mission: to make sure no child ever feels as forgotten as she once did. 

 

"As a child who often felt unseen, I would’ve given anything for a soft blanket to call my own—something that felt safe, warm, and mine."

 

Blankets4Kids was born from that mission.
 

What started with a single handmade blanket and a heart full of healing has now grown into a movement—one blanket, one child, one act of love at a time.

 

This isn’t just a nonprofit.
 

It’s a message whispered to every child who receives a blanket:

 

"You are seen. You are worthy. You are loved."
